Welcome to Ruby Moon

My name is Julieann, owner of Ruby Moon. Quite some time ago I stitched my first beads and knew right away it was love.

I use primarily Japanese seed beads, Czech glass, and Austrian crystal in my weaving.. The endless array of colors, shapes, and finishes is, in part, what makes this craft so enjoyable to me.

Bead weaving is a time intensive and intricate craft. The process requires a lot of patience and focus, as each bead is stitched using only a needle and thread. The thread has a very high tensile strength which results in a very durable piece of jewelry.

NOTE: It can be difficult to portray the beauty os beaded jewelry in photographs . . .to capture the subtleties of color . . .finishes . . . sparkle and shine. Chances are if you like it here . . .you will love it when you actually get to feel and see it in person.
