About Ruby Moon

My name is Julieann, and I’m the owner of Ruby Moon. Several years ago I discovered bead weaving and quickly fell in love with the craft.

I create each piece using primarily Japanese Miyuki seed beads, Czech glass, and Austrian crystal. The endless variety of colors, shapes, finishes—and, of course, sparkle—is part of what continues to inspire me every time I sit down to create.

Every design is handwoven one bead at a time using only a needle and thread. It is a detailed process that requires patience and precision, resulting in jewelry that is both beautiful and remarkably durable.

One thing I’ve learned over the years is that photographs can only tell part of the story. It can be difficult to capture the subtle colors, finishes, and sparkle of beadwoven jewelry. If you love a piece here, I think you’ll love it even more when you see and feel it in person.
