My name is Julieann, owner of Ruby Moon, and several years ago I fell in love with stitching and working with beads.

I use primarily Japanese seed beads, Czech glass, and Austrian crystal in my weaving. The endless array of colors, shapes, and finishes is, in part, what makes this craft so enjoyable to me.

Bead weaving can be an intensive and intricate craft, requiring a lot of patience and focus, as each bead is stitched using only a needle and thread. The thread has a very high tensile strength which results in a very durable piece of jewelry.

NOTE: It can be difficult to portray the beauty of beaded jewelry in photographs . . .to capture the subtleties of color . . .finishes . . . sparkle and shine. Chances are if you like it here . . .you will love it when you actually get to feel and see it in person.
